The Wedding Breakfast
A traditional wedding needs careful planning. I will give both advice and help in planning each part of the day
Always arriving early, I will ensure that the venue is prepared according to your requirements.
Adding a touch of formality to the proceedings in a warm, happy and friendly manner. I will ensure that all the activities are pre-planned and meticulously co-ordinated. I am a team player and will liaise and work with the venue staff, caterers, chauffeurs, photographer and videographer, as well as the key people involved with the family so that every facet within the event happens as planned and that nothing is forgotten.
Every wedding is special and unique, so I will always discretely ensure that all the functions you have agreed upon are met including guidance of the table line up, order and responsibility of speech makers,
Including any or all of the following.
- Receive your guests
- Receive and escort the bride and bridegroom on arrival at the function venue.
- Organise the receiving line and make the necessary announcements.
- Announce the entrance of the bride and groom and escort them to their seats
- Say Grace before the meal – I have both traditional and humorous
- Announce and organise the cutting of the cake
- Announce any formal speeches and toasts
- Encourage guests to complete the guest book and use disposable cameras
- Announce the ceremony of The Quaiche
- Close the formal proceedings and escort the bride and bridegroom from the function
- Prepare for any subsequent festivities and make any necessary announcements
- Be available throughout to deal with any problems or emergences.
- Hand over formally to your DJ or Bandmaster
